ABOUT T.W.I.S.T.
An acronym for These Women in Space and Time, T.W.I.S.T. offers a variety of engaging acts of female solidarity on and off the stage. The evening-length dance theater work is performed by five female athletes of the heart who embody Myers’ signature fusion of personal theatricality and robust physicality.
T.W.I.S.T is made possible by an original commission from the Moss Center and co-commissioned by The Yard. Adele Myers and Dancers also received a National Dance Project Production grant to support the development and touring of T.W.I.ST as well as a Satellite Residency Program grant from NCC Akron for TWISTalks-the virtual and research/community engagement component of the project.
